Homecoming is a small food and music event in Rotterdam by Housekamer Collective. Chefs and DJs from different backgrounds bring their worlds together at long family tables, with soul food shared family style and music from the first plate to the last dance.

Absolutely. Plenty of guests come on their own, and that's exactly the point. With long shared tables, games and conversation cards, you won't be on your own for long.

For a few hours we'd love you to be fully present with the people around you. There's no phone police, just a friendly invitation to put it in your pocket. Our photographer captures the moments, and we share the photos in our WhatsApp community afterwards.

No. Come as you are.

Mostly English, so everyone feels included. You'll always meet a mix of Dutch and international guests.

Usually all the food: the chefs cook several dishes that are served family style. What's included differs per edition, so check the event page.

Usually not. Drinks and cocktails are available at the venue's bar. If drinks are included for an edition, we mention it on the event page.

There's always a vegetarian option, and all meat is halal. You can let us know about allergies when you buy your ticket.

That depends on the edition. We mention it on the event page, including any children's prices.

Tickets are non-refundable, but you're welcome to pass yours on to someone else.

In Rotterdam, a few times a year. The venue changes with the format: recent editions took place at Oliveira's in Rotterdam West, and the very first one at Studio Grounded.
